Studio fnt is a Seoul-based graphic design studio founded in November 2006. The studio collects fragmented and straying thoughts, then organizes and transforms them into relevant, tangible forms. Its capabilities include corporate branding, visual identities, graphic design for exhibitions and/or cultural arts events, and diverse collaborative projects across a wide range of fields, scales, and media.

2006년 11월 서울에서 설립된 그래픽 디자인 스튜디오 fnt는 생각의 단편들(thought)을 조직적이고 유의미한 형태(form)로 만들어 나가는 과정과 그 결과를 함께 제안합니다. 브랜드 아이덴티티 구축부터 전시, 공연, 문화예술 행사를 위한 그래픽 디자인까지, 다양한 분야와 규모, 매체를 아우르는 프로젝트를 지속적으로 진행하고 있습니다.

Various books, such as The History of Graphic Design. Vol. 2 (TASCHEN), From South Korea (Counter-Print), and Printed Pages (It’s Nice That), as well as magazines including IDEAアイデア, Monocle, form, Communication Arts, novum, IdN, and Design 360°, have featured the studio's work and stories. Online platforms like It’s Nice That, BP&O, Dieline, and étapes have also highlighted its projects.

fnt의 작업과 이야기는 『그래픽 디자인의 역사 Vol. 2』(TASCHEN), 『한국으로부터』(Counter-Print), 『프린티드 페이지』(It’s Nice That) 등의 단행본을 비롯해 『아이디어』, 『모노클』, 『폼』, 『커뮤니케이션 아츠』, 『노붐』, 『아이디엔』, 『디자인 360°』 등 여러 매거진과 It’s Nice That, BP&O, Dieline, étapes 등의 온라인 매체에 소개되었습니다.

Competitions such as the Chaumont International Poster Competition, Hong Kong International Poster Triennial, Core77 Design Awards, and Red Dot Design Award have honored the studio. Posters designed by Studio fnt and Jaemin Lee are held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and le Signe (centre national du graphisme).

쇼몽 그래픽 디자인 비엔날레 포스터 공모전, 홍콩 국제 포스터 트리엔날레, 코어77 디자인 어워드, YCN 어워드, 레드닷 디자인 어워드 등 국내외 공모전에서 수상했습니다. 스튜디오 fnt와 이재민이 디자인한 포스터는 런던 빅토리아 앤 앨버트 박물관, 파리 장식미술관, 쇼몽 국립 그래픽 디자인 센터(le Signe) 등에 영구 소장되어 있습니다.

Heesun Kim 김희선 공동 대표
Co-president, Creative Director

After studying industrial design at KAIST, Heesun Kim has conducted various local and international projects since 2001, spanning corporate branding, promotion, and events. Since 2011, she has worked as creative director at Studio fnt, directing design strategies and leading key projects. She has served as an advisor and judge for numerous public and cultural initiatives, including the Korea Tourism Competition, the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage Product Development Project, the KCDF Traditional Cultural Heritage Brand Competition, and the National Museum of Korea Product Competition.

김희선은 카이스트(KAIST)에서 산업디자인을 공부했습니다. 2001년부터 기업 브랜딩과 커뮤니케이션 부문에서 다양한 프로젝트 경험을 쌓았습니다. 2011년 스튜디오 fnt에 크리에이티브 디렉터로 합류하여 프로젝트의 디자인 전략을 수립하고 구체화하는 역할을 맡고 있습니다. 대한민국 관광 공모전, 한국전통문화대학교 상품 개발 프로젝트, 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원 전통 문화유산 활용 브랜드 공모, 국립중앙박물관 공모상품 등에 자문 및 심사위원으로 참여하고 있습니다.

Jaemin Lee 이재민 공동 대표
Co-president, Art Director, Graphic Designer

Jaemin Lee studied visual communication design at Seoul National University and founded Studio fnt in 2006. As a graphic designer and art director, he directs the visual language of diverse projects across the studio. He served as the director of Typojanchi 2021: International Typography Biennale — A Turtle and a Crane (Seoul, 2021) and has participated in exhibitions Korea: Design + Poster (Munich, 2017) and Korea Now! Craft, Design, Fashion, and Graphic Design in Korea (Paris, 2015). He teaches design at the University of Seoul and has been a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2016.

이재민은 서울대학교에서 시각디자인을 공부했습니다. 2006년 스튜디오 fnt를 설립한 이후, 그래픽 디자이너이자 아트 디렉터로서 프로젝트의 시각적 방향을 총괄해 왔습니다. 총감독을 맡아 타이포잔치 2021: 국제 타이포그래피 비엔날레 《거북이와 두루미》(서울, 2021)를 기획했고 《코리아: 디자인 + 포스터》(뮌헨, 2017), 《코리아 나우! 한국의 공예, 디자인, 패션, 그래픽 디자인》(파리, 2015) 등의 전시에 참여했습니다. 서울시립대학교에서 시각디자인을 가르치고 있으며, 2016년부터 국제그래픽연맹(AGI) 회원으로 활동 중입니다.

Woogyung Geel 길우경 이사

Woogyung Geel studied visual communication design at Seoul Women’s University and joined Studio fnt in 2007. As an art director, she has led numerous branding and communication projects while helping shape the studio's creative direction. Since 2019, she has served as an advisor for cultural initiatives including the KCDF Star Product Development Program, Hallyu collaborative content development, and Hanji industry support projects.

길우경은 서울여자대학교에서 시각디자인을 공부한 후, 2007년에 스튜디오 fnt에 합류했습니다. 아트 디렉터로서 오랜 기간 다수의 프로젝트를 진행하며 스튜디오의 방향성을 형성하는 데 기여해 왔습니다. 2019년부터 현재까지 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원 스타상품 개발 및 후속지원 사업, 한류연계 협업콘텐츠 기획개발 및 한지 분야 지원사업 등에 자문위원으로 참여해 왔습니다
