I’m Rooted, But I Flow

Studio OYK(Ohyukyoung) and studio fnt looked back on ‘our time’ together. Over the past 10 years, each of us has interacted with various people and done a lot of different things. Some of these experiences rooted and settled down somewhere deep inside of us, and other experiences shifted along with changes that took place. In such a way, we thought that ‘our time’ is not a two-dimensional linear line flowing from A to B, but rather a three-dimensional spiral that endlessly circulates and intersects.

The quilting technique, which has a continuous single-stroke, was mainly used in this oyk collection to resemble the appearance of a continuous time. Through the form of continuous yet irregular lines, we expressed the way in which time passes us by and its relative speed.
